Caps for Kids “is an international non-profit organization dedicated to giving caps and scarves signed by athletes and celebrities to children who are cancer patients”, and every year they hold a day where kids can wear their favorite cap to school for a day. That date this year is October 5th, 2007. New Era, Hatworld/Lids, and Caps for Kids have joined forces to make Wear Your Cap To School Day possible. The event is a fund raiser in which you donate $1.00 to Caps for Kids which gives the kids the privilege to wear their favorite ball cap to school. Wear Your Cap To School Day started in 2004 and have already managed to raise $120,000 for Caps for Kids, with 106,000 students from 298 schools having participated.
